Nice Rack Canad recently built this series wired pedal board system for a local player who really loves a nice overdrive.
We designed 2x "Single" carts for Keyboards with a Dave Smith Instrument synth per. Each with a lower deck for pedalboards and loom cabling to reside during transport.
We also designed a "Double" keyboard cart for singer Emily Haines, "90 Degree" array of Nord Keyboard & Sequential Circuits Pro One. The cart has to roll up and down a 31" wide ramp for changeovers & load ins, so the cart has to remain in it's "Straight" position for the logistics and then articulate into it's "Right Angle" stage configuration.

For rental amp situations where there may not be an effects loop on the amp we built in some functionality that helps the player flex with the hardware available at the moment. There is a 4CM vs Series wiring switch in the latching connection In & Out box. When the Switch is in the "4CM" position, Delay & Reverb are placed in the signal chain after the pre-amp stage of the amplifier.
When in "Series" mode the Amp's Effects Loop is disconnected from the signal path and the Output of the Delay & Reverb is routed to the input of the Amplifier.

Here's some spec's on this sweet system. It's a "Matrix" system, meaning that it has the ability to change all of it's routings on every preset.
Instead of being tied to one signal flow you can have any signal flow you want, when you want. Which is pretty handy for a score music composer & guitar instrumental musician who has to constantly change the signal flow.
The switcher has a software interface that allows you to create an icon for each device and it's corresponding Input(s) & Output(s), then using the mouse, connect the rig you want to have at that moment with no extra devices connected to the signal path for the cleanest path possible from pick ups to speakers.

A Matrix Switching Double Pedalboard System with almost infinite tone possibilities.
The audio matrix can store 120 different signal routings with 3 millisecond switching time between routings. The Eventide TimeFactor stores 100 different delay presets. The 2x Eventide H9's can host 99 presets per unit from across the Eventide algorithm collection with the TC Electronic Nova Drive providing 18 different OD's & Distortions. With a system like this, the only limitations on sonic possibilities are the player's creativity.
